We enjoyed putting this together and thought the mystery would be a bonus. It was! There is an insert to read that gives the clues needed to figure out the mystery. The insert was related to the puzzle picture, but looking at the completed puzzle didn't really give any clues. We easily figured out the mystery, and that was fun. Of course, the mystery is only a mystery once, but the puzzle can be put together again and again. We enjoyed this!

This puzzle was a murder mystery, but even after putting the puzzle together(which was exactly like the puzzle box-no additional clues)and reading the eight page story we could not figure out who did it. I called my daughter and she read the script and could not figure out the killer. Who murdered Whistler???
