Our StoryIn 1980, Eli Segal acquired American Publishing, a jigsaw puzzle manufacturer in Watertown, MA. Three years later, Bits and Pieces was born with the launch of The Great International Puzzle Collection. Joined by his brother Alan in 1986, the Segal family turned the business into a long-standing passion for creative design and accessible entertainment. By 1988, we began producing our own private-label puzzles, setting new standards for quality and originality. Throughout the 1990s, we grew into international markets, embraced e-commerce, and introduced our online store—making it easier than ever to buy Bits and Pieces puzzles online. Over the decades, our brand has expanded to include new puzzle formats, artists, and partnerships. From acquiring the Spilsbury catalog in 2009 to reaching new audiences on Amazon in 2015, Bits and Pieces continues to evolve while staying true to our heritage of excellence. |
