The quality and artwork of ""Grand Day Out"" is the very best. The wood is as smooth as can be and the pieces fit together so well ...they are not hard to join at all. What a great Christmas gift this would be for any dedicated puzzler.... it took my breath away when I completed it and I just studied it for a long time. I wasn't about to wait for Christmas to buy this beauty. One thing I want to pass along is how I store mine. I do not pull each piece apart from its neighbor. I break the 300 pc. puzzle into squares made up of 5 x 5 pieces. Then I stack them in a gallon size freezer bag.
