The puzzle pieces are much darker than what is shown. Top and bottom edges are black-not wood grain color as shown. So I can't use the photo much to assemble the clock because colors are much darker. It is very difficult.

love,love this puzzle. so very unique and tons of fun putting together and figuring out all the odd angles to form the shape of it. hope more shaped puzzles such as this are offered in the future.
