Deluxe Swivel Puzzle Easel

It is much easier and more comfortable to puzzle on a tilted surface. This has several angles for tilting, including a pretty steep one that is awesome. I've been using mine for over a year and love it. The surface does get pilled after a few months of use so I use a lint/pill shaver to help...not perfect but not a deal-breaker. Another surface might be better (suede-like?). Even with that minor issue, I am considering getting a second one.

Surface is very thin felt on a hard background. Pieces stick but still slide. Firm - no squish. The size accomadates every brand of puzzles that I buy. No more moving around all the time. The tilt enables me to see everything well and reduces glare. The 360 degree swivel while tilting is a game changer.

I'm new to puzzling and bought this because I have a small home with a toddler and small table against a wall to do my puzzles. It's perfect for working on the puzzle ergonomically, covering and closing flat and moving it to a spot nearby. Please note dimensions and measurements. It is quite large and a little heavy. Definitely recommend keeping it mainly in one spot. I'm very happy with product despite the fact that it does take up a lot of space . It serves its function, makes puzzling easier, more comfortable and folds down very nicely. Plus it's beautiful and sturdy.

I cannot say enough great things about this puzzle board. It is bigger than it looks in the picture and, yes, it is heavy & cumbersome. But it is WELL worth it !!! Choose a spot where it can stay and just leave it there. I put mine on one end of the dining room table & if we need the whole table it takes literally less than 2 minutes to put the cover on, close it & put it behind the living room couch. The BEST thing about it is the swivel action. It is AWESOME !!!!!! In fact, there is no way I could do the 1000 and 1500 piece puzzles I love without it. It swivels 380 degrees whether it is flat or in any of the raised positions. So I can work on the puzzle top, bottom, either side, or get better reach into the middle and I can change positions in about 2 seconds. And the puzzle pieces REMAIN COMPLETELY IN PLACE when it is swiveling, even at the sharpest raised angle. The board cover is not too difficult to manage & I can put it on or take it off in a few seconds. It is held in place with those little swivel things like on the back of a picture frame, and there are 3 on EACH side (for a total of 12), so it is very secure. I also think the quality is quite decent. It is heavy wood with a smooth finish. I've even folded clothes on top of it with the cover in place. There is good quality felt on both the board AND the inside of the cover and it is glued on well and smooth. I could not be happier with this board !!!

I've been wanting to get back into doing puzzles to relax in the evening with the TV or music on, but with three cats there was noplace safe to leave a large puzzle out over a period of days. I wanted to be able to move it from room to room, to completely put it away at times, and it had to be big enough for the 1,000 piece puzzles I like. I like this easel for its very large work surface and the ability to work either a vertical or horizontal puzzle. The felt backing holds the pieces in place even better than expected. It's very sturdy and not unattractive to leave out, but will tuck easily out of the way behind a sofa when not in use. I can see three ""cons"" so far. One is that this easel is a real pinch hazard, so be careful when setting it up, adjusting or moving it. Secondly, while it's not heavy, the unit is awkward to pick up and carry to a different room if it's set up in the easel position with a puzzle on it. You have to close it up as if putting it away to safely and easily transport it around. Lastly, while the surface is large enough for the puzzle-in-progress, there is very little room around a 1,000 piece puzzle to set out pieces while you're working. I'm having to use a separate puzzle caddy for that. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase. I would buy it as a gift for someone who is physically agile, but not for a home with young, unsupervised children or the fragile elderly.

I couldn't believe how beautiful the wood finish is on this easel when I first saw it! This easel is perfect for my puzzling needs! I love it! I can use it for horizontal or vertical puzzles, up to 1500 pieces provided the puzzle isn't too large for the easel. When the grandkids are over, I can put the cover on and not worry about losing pieces, etc. When I want to sew, I can put the cover on the easel, whether I have a fully or partially completed puzzle on it, collapse and easily store it, and put my machine in its place. Or, I can easily move the puzzle I'm working on to another room or somewhere else if I want to. Occasionally mine (and it may just be mine) wobbles a little, and I put a small piece of foam between the top piece and the piece it rests on. I'd buy it again!
